The Journey’s Path: A walk down a pathway is a hundred different things (to use Reggio-inspired thought).  It is active, it’s experimental, it’s peaceful, it’s exciting.  Piaget would call it “constructive”, acknowledging that each path-walker will construct meaning and acquire knowledge based on their unique experience.

The experiences which significantly impact children’s learning are those centered on their self-directed interests; allowing for deep thinking and experimentation. In a trusted, relationship-driven setting, a child can use “a hundred languages” to express their ideas, (painting, sculpting, drama, exploration, and much more.)

At Journey, we aim to offer nature-rich, play-based, and child-led experiences to help children develop naturally. This approach fosters active learners who are self-starters, critical thinkers, and demonstrate strong social confidence and self-love.
